I am Diane Sage, owner and principal photographer and the brains behind Sage Studios Photography. Wedding photography for me is my love and passion. I am fortunate enough to have turned that passion into a career. I’ve been shooting weddings for well over 18 years now and I am so excited with the path that wedding photography has taken. There are no more rules and couples are left with turning their dream weddings into reality without sacrificing their style. If you can think it, dream it and see it….you can create it. And when hiring the right professionals that share that same philosophy, there is no end to what you can do.
I call my style real and in the moment. I try and capture the scene as they are happening instead of stopping to pose or set up a photo. Although I do realize that some posed photography is necessary, I do try to incorporate both styles in all the weddings we photograph. Call it photojournalism, call it candid moments but I like to refer to my style as unique, creative, modern and a lot of fun!
Packages & Albums
All information pertaining to our packages and what is included is listed on my website at www.sagephoto.com. Please take a moment to view our online portfolio. We also offer many options with regards to wedding albums. We feature wedding albums from all over the world from such places as Italy, Australia, New York and Canada. We know that our vast array of styles and options will be a refreshing change for our clients. Whether you are looking for a traditional photo-inserted style album or a more modern coffee table, flush mounted style book, we carry them all. Let us preserve your wedding photography in a great wedding book that you will treasure for years to come!
Film or Digital
Actually we shoot both, which allows us the best of both worlds. Our film is scanned and saved as very high resolution files. This allows us the beauty of still shooting with film but the safety and manageability of digital files. Although digital photography has come a long way, I am still a fan of shooting with actual film and using both allows me to get my hands into the new and exciting world of digital, but still feel comfortable with shooting film.
Selecting a photographer is a huge decision and one that shouldn’t be taken lightly. I feel finding a photographer that not only fits your style and vision but one that also fits your personality. You will be spending a great deal of time with your photographer, be certain you are comfortable with them. Take the time to meet with people you are interested in and view a more detailed portfolio of their work. Ask a lot of questions and never feel pressured or rushed.
We hope you give us the opportunity to show you what we can offer to you as a wedding photographer. Please contact us by phone or email to set up a consultation or to discuss your wedding in more detail, and thank you for viewing our online brochure!
