Dear Edward, We just wanted to let you know how appreciative we are for the wonderful and professional job you did marrying the two of us.

When we originally sat down and talked about how we wanted our ceremony to go, we didn't have all that much in mind of what exactly we wanted to say, how long it should be, what was proper etiquette and so forth. The help you gave us (e.g., different excerpts from various types of weddings, helping us find what we wanted to convey to each other and our guests, keeping the timeline within what we considered to be an appropriate length) was invaluable.

With so much to think about and so many things to try to remember and keep up with, it made both of us so comfortable with no need to worry about how our ceremony was going to go, thanks to you. It was such a help to be standing up there (all the while being quite nervous, I must admit!) with people who supported us and gave us strength, and you were definitely one of those people.

Although you are very professional in every aspect of your job, there is a genuine quality to what you do that makes it feel like you've been a friend of ours all our lives. :) Thank you so much for everything.

Ed, Thank you again for officiating at our outdoor wedding. You helped make the day and this casual wedding very special. We appreciate the help you gave us with the vows and allowing us to personalize them to fit our personalities.

I recall seeing your ad in the paper and noting that you were retired Navy. I thought this would be our way of thanking a veteran for being of service to this country but it turned out to be so much more. We can say without reservation that anyone who chooses you to officiate at their wedding will not be disappointed. You are a professional who really does care.

Ed, Brett and I just wanted to send along our thanks for a perfect day, our way!
We appreciate all the help you provided during our preparation. It's hard to find someone you're comfortable with - and from the first conversation I knew you were perfect! The changing of dates multiple times (Thanks to the USAF), changing of the time last minute, writing the vows, helping us find a beautiful spot, snagging the witness....it's all much appreciated and won't be soon forgotten!
