State Room

Located on the 33 rd and 34 th floors of Sixty State Street, State Room is a unique private function venue located in the heart of downtown Boston. Offering panoramic views of the harbor and city, it is the only independently-owned special event venue that can accommodate more than 850 guests in downtown Boston. State Room is widely recognized as the city’s premiere venue for social events, private dinners and celebrations, wedding receptions and fundraising galas.

The venue’s centerpiece is the dramatic Great Room, featuring a panoramic glass wall 20 feet high and 120 feet across. The rich mahogany floor creates a warm contrast to the gleaming chrome and glass “floating” staircase that leads to the mezzanine, and ivory walls provide a clean slate to transform the room into a limitless number of unique visions. The two adjoining Harborside Salons offer highly-stylized, sophisticated design and architecture, while the two Cityside Suites present muted sophistication as the guiding principle behind the décor. The five rooms can be used together for a large celebration, or individually for more intimate affairs.
