A little information about us...Stems, LCC was founded in 2004 as a family owned, full service florist specializing in weddings. Since then, we have collaborated with hundreds of brides and grooms in the St. Louis metropolitan area to create wedding florals for their very special day.

We are dedicated to delivering the best customer care and wedding day service as recognized by the readers of The Knot magazine and website as one of “The Best of Weddings.” Stems received the only 100% rating of all the florists in the St. Louis area and was recognized as one of the top 5 wedding florists in the Midwest.

Special Floral Tips for Brides:

• Use your bouquets for double duty and position them on reception tables to stretch your floral budget
• When getting married during warmer months, have a cooler ready to keep the bouquets cool and fresh all day when not using them for photos
• Make sure if you are refrigerating your flowers, there is no fresh fruit in the refrigerator. Gas produced by ripening fruit will cause premature opening and wilting of the flowers
• During warmer months, keep a spray bottle of cool water handy to spray the flowers and keep them refreshed
• Keep smoke away from all flowers including any personal boutonnieres or corsages
• When getting married during the winter, make sure that your flowers do not freeze, flowers should not be stored below 40 degrees
• Please let us know if anyone in your wedding party has a pace maker. If so, we will not use any magnets to hold corsages in place
• Use centerpieces as thank you gifts for the special people that assist with your wedding day
• Using matching flowers for your cake and petals for the cake table help to continue the color theme of your wedding day
• Make sure that the Father of the Bride boutonnieres flowers are complementary to your bridal bouquet. This special thought makes Dad & Daughter photos more spectacular.
• If hosting an Opening Gifts event, use centerpieces form the reception to carry your theme home
• Announce your wedding day by using matching wreaths on the doors of the church
