Grainger Ballroom is a great choice for receptions and dinners, seating about 175 people with a dance floor. Please note that Friday and Saturday evenings are rarely available for the Grainger Ballroom during mid-September through mid-June due to the Chicago Symphony Orchestra concert season. The 9th Floor Club at Symphony Center is a lovely space having slightly more availability with the capacity to seat about 120 people (75 w/a dance floor) for dinner. The 9th Floor Club features an outdoor terrace overlooking Lake Michigan. Another popular room for larger dinners and receptions is Buntrock Hall; a modern facility accommodating 200 people for dinner and dancing.
The rental fee for an event in the Ballroom is $5,250. The rental fee for the 9th floor of the Club is $1,325. If you are interested in using both the 8th and 9th floors of the club, there will be an additional $425 charge. Buntrock Hall is available for $3,500. Rental fees are for four hours and do not include any technical labor or equipment rental. Rental rates apply to events ending by 11pm. There is a $850 per hour charges for any event that exceeds the four hour rental period and a $850 per hour charge for events that go past eleven o’clock. Please note rates are subject to change.
