The Hollingsworth House is a privately owned and operated public events facility. The house was built in 1906 as a wedding gift to Waymon B. and Irene Felker Hollingsworth from Irene's father, Mr. George Walton Felker of Monroe. This 4,200 square foot home, located in the heart of Fayetteville's historic downtown, has 12-foot ceilings, crystal chandeliers, hardwood floors, beautifully furnished rooms in period antiques, fully-equipped kitchen and a wide verandah. This home is a perfect place to have all of your lavish functions.
Guests enter a formal center hall with a formal parlor on the right leading to a formal dining room. On the left is a spacious double parlor with a beautiful sunroom for you to enjoy. The grand staircase, beautifully carved mahogany and oak mantles, and stained glass windows reflecting the family's monogram are original to the house.
