You will not find a more beautiful or romantic location on Long Island to have your dream wedding or event than the Nassau County Museum of Art. Located on Long Island's fabled Gold Coast, the Museum is situated on 145 acres and occupies an elegant Georgian mansion. The site includes formal gardens, an outdoor sculpture garden, rolling lawn, meadows and ponds. The Mansion houses world-class art exhibits where your guests can mingle and enjoy themselves. The Formal Gardens have recently been restored to their original splendor based on the design of famed landscape architect, Marion Cruger Coffin. Truly one of the most beautiful event locations during every season, the Nassau Country Museum of Art offers every bride or host a day to remember.
Most importantly, yours will be the ONLY event held at that time. Your special day will belong to only you.
Our beautiful paneled library will accommodate up to 50 guests. You and your guests can dance the night away either in the library or the lobby area.
The Mansion is connected to a semi-permanent tent that can accommodate 170 guests. Cocktails can be served in the library, lobby or outside. The tent can be heated or air-conditioned for an extra charge. Your guests will have full access to the entire property and can feel free to roam the beautiful grounds.
The Formal Garden and pond are also available for engagement or wedding photos. This makes a wonderful place for a wedding ceremony or dedication.
Still photography is permitted in the Formal Garden throughout the property, Tuesday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. or by special arrangement.
