The View Point Inn is located just 22 miles from downtown Portland, near Crown Point. Situated on a one acre bluff featuring panoramic views of the Columbia River Gorge and the city lights of Portland and Vancouver, the Inn sits at 1,200 feet above sea level.
Built in 1924, this historic, private hotel was designed by Carl Linde and operated as an inn and restaurant for over 50 years before closing in the late 1960s. During its heyday, it boasted such guests as President Roosevelt, Charlie Chaplin and The Queen of Romania. In 1984, The ViewPoint Inn was placed on the National Register of Historic places.
The View Point Inn is now in the process of becoming a five star boutique hotel available for historic tours, lodging, weddings, special events, corporate functions, meetings, lectures, indoor concerts, commercial photo shoots and commercial filming. The Inn can be yours exclusively for the day and closed to the public. Overnight accommodations are available for up to eight guests with shared baths and complimentary breakfast. The Inn is wheelchair accessible and allows special assistance animals. A full-service wedding and event coordinator is also on staff.
Open House on Nov. 25th from 1-4pm.
