My background and training are firmly rooted in photojournalism. I have a degree in Journalism and a minor in English. As such, I know the importance of a good story. The art of wedding photography is essentially the telling of that story. Each couple has a story that is uniquely theirs.
In looking at my images, you will note a heavy reliance on the black and white image. A good photographer is always true to his vision and passionate about his or her work. My reliance on the staged pose or formal portrait is minimal.
One of my early influences was the legendary French photojournalist, Henri Cartier-Bresson, whose work embodied the concept of the 'decisive moment': That 1/60th to 1/1000th of a second that so purely and perfectly captures a unique moment in time.
I'd like to thank you for taking the time to view my work and for considering me to photograph your wedding.
