Windsong Classical Trio

Windsong is a classical music trio that has been delighting the greater Seattle area since 1980. Our versatile ensemble can provide the right classical background music for your occasion.

Whether you're planning a wedding or social event and desire music that is fun, festive, or formal, Windsong Classical Trio can assist you in selecting the right pieces to accent your event. We can also play for your reception! If we are already playing for your ceremony, you'll enjoy a reduced rate for the reception, and our song list ranges from classical (of course) to Rock, jazz, movie themes and pop tunes. Yes, we even do Lady Gaga and Beyoncé.

About the Trio

In 1980, Megan Imrie (pictured in middle) created Windsong as a flute duo. After several months, it became clear there was something missing from the sound. After serious consideration, the cello was added for its beautiful, rich tones — creating the Windsong combination.

To give you greater variety in your choice of sounds we continued our expansion, creating a flute, violin, cello combination. Later, for our wedding clients, we added the option of trumpet, offering an additional touch of elegance and drama for our brides!

Windsong members are chosen carefully with the success of your event in mind. For their superb musicianship, their talent in creating a great ensemble sound and, as important as their musical abilities, for their individual commitment to the details that will make the musical portion of your event a great success.

Today, Windsong has grown to become a prominent trio in the greater Seattle area, providing light, classical background music for a wide variety of clients and occasions.
