I dream of women wanting more to express themselves, than what is beautiful in the context of the society.

I have nothing against the no make up look. I personally think that it is very pretty on a bride, and in fact, it is what I usually recommend. But I believe that there are more possibilities on how much more beautiful a bride or a woman could be if we break out of the cookie cutter and reflect more on how our individuality could shine. Cliche as this may sound, but really, beauty truly comes from within. In my search for a vision, I am also searching for something deeper. Make up will truly become an art form of women's advocacy if it will be used not only to enhance physical traits, not only to satisfy what one sees in the mirror or to empower women through self confidence but also to embrace the individuality of a person that is more beautiful than anything else.

We were once members of somebody else's entourage pitching in during the wedding preparations several times before we became Brides ourselves. We thought we knew everything there was to know about weddings but, when it came for us to actually plan and execute our own dream events we realized it was stressful, not to forget, time-consuming.
