These 10 relaxation tips are all easy and achievable ways for you to unwind while wedding planning.

Yoga

You don't have to be a world-class yogi to benefit from yoga. Beginners can de-stress and gain flexibility in just a few classes. Take a friend or go solo. Remember that yoga is called a "practice" because it's not about doing it perfectly. Rather it is simply about focus and effort.

Deep Breathing

One of the most instantaneous ways you can take the stress away (particularly if you are experiencing physical symptoms) is to take 5 minutes and devote it to deep breathing. The secret to deep breathing is controlling your breath. Breathe in and out through your nose in equal counts. For example, inhale for a count of 5 and then exhale for a count of 5.

Outdoor Cardio

It's no surprise that exercise is one of our relaxation tips. Why not also get some fresh air and sunshine? Take your cardio routine outdoors for an even more refreshing experience.

Hobbies

Creative pursuits bring us joy in our everyday lives. Whether you enjoy cooking, painting, writing, or gardening, spending time with your hobbies also helps you relax. While this is certainly a busy phase in your life, set aside a little time to devote to the things you love doing.

Time Alone or With Friends

Extroverts need to re-energize and de-stress with other people. Introverts require time alone to recharge and restore their energy. Make sure you give yourself what you need during wedding planning.

Organization

Procrastination always seems like a good idea at the time. But by staying on top of your schedule and continuing to check items off of that very ambitious to-do list, you will reduce your stress.

Caffeine

Feeling edgy and wound-up? Look at what's in your diet. Avoid excessive amounts of caffeine, and make sure you are eating appropriate amounts of protein, healthy fats, and greens.

Be Okay with Good Enough

Don't strive for wedding perfection. There's really no such thing. Be okay with good enough. Make confident decisions and then move on to the next task to tackle.

Small Indulgences

When you are planning your wedding, money is tight. But small indulgences like a pedicure, a couple of new magazines, or a luxurious bubble bath can make you feel like a brand new woman.

Therapy

Getting married is a major life change. It is normal and natural to be experiencing some stress over your wedding. If you find that these relaxation tips and tricks just aren't cutting it, head to your physician or a therapist. They will help you get to the root of your stress and move through it.
