One of my very favorite color palettes is pink and gold. In fact, they are the colors I choose to decorate my home during the holidays. Nothing beats this light-hearted, bright, cheery combo to infuse a room with a celebratory atmosphere. Especially if you opt for a pale pink, you can absolutely soak your event in pink and gold touches. It is one of the few color palettes that looks equally posh in both little doses and over-the-top expression.
If you want to keep it minimal: Use pink and gold in your jewelry (such as the earrings above), rather than in your wedding party attire. Stay away from bright gold metallics; use a muted, flat gold confetti (above, left) instead of a glittery effect. Incorporate the colors into your wedding cake decor--but not the actual cake.
If you want to truly rock it: Have your bridesmaids wear pink dresses with gold accents. Use bright, glittery gold for really opportune places, such as around your bouquet (top, left) and in wall decor, such as with bunting or streamers (top, right). Go bold with the color in your save-the-dates and invitations. Especially if you want to emphasize your colors, you don't need a lot of design, just good typography (above, left).
