Just the other week I was clicking through winter real weddings, searching for snowy details and faux-fur coats and such and I came across a bride’s bouquet that nearly swept me off my feet. It was soft and earthy and, ladies and gentlemen, this thing had pine cones in it. Small, textured, wintry pine cones.
Now, I’ve been known to think that “rustic” and “winter” are two words that belong together, but this bouquet took the idea to a whole new level of wonderful. Naturally, this discovery sent me directly to some of my favorite sources of wedding inspiration, where I devoted myself wholeheartedly to discovering woodsy bouquets to share – and learned that pine and pine cone bouquets are officially a thing. There were dozens of these beauties piled up, waiting to be found. And, while the majority were clearly dedicated to winter weddings, many would be seriously lovely on a year-round basis. Here are just a few of my absolute favorites.
How do you feel about pine cone bouquets? They seem like such a perfect fit for the season!
