At first glance, this is just another elegant camp-themed wedding, but it is actually so much more. The summer camp venue was actually the place where this cute couple's romance blossomed. Carolyn had attended the camp as a child and ended up connecting with Brett when they both served as counselors during college. The two wanted their wedding to have a sense of rustic adventure to give a nod to their shared wanderlust (Brett proposed on a trip to South America). Both of them are highly creative so they created many of the details you see here, from the invitations to the felt flower bridal bouquet. If this event looks familiar, it's because it was featured in the last edition of our magazine, mywedding.
Our Favorite Things:
- Carolyn's illusion back wedding dress with sheer embroidered lace detailing
- The rustic wooden wagon for the adorable flower girl
- Brett's midnight blue tux and swanky cufflinks (we're big fans of this dapper accessory for men)
