If you want a low-key and relaxed wedding day, consider having your event in your own backyard. Weddings at private residences are often more intimate and cozy than those at traditional venues, and ideal for couples that don't want a lot of fuss. Katie and Jim's real wedding is a great example of just such an event. After a church ceremony, the couple and their guests danced the evening away under string lights hung over a patio.
Many of their wedding details are equally laid-back, from the simple place settings decorated with a fern to the rustic wooden wedding sign helping guests to find their way to the photobooth and welcome table. At the end of the evening, Katie and Jim cut into a classic buttercream wedding cake and were treated to hilarious toasts from their family and friends.
