One of the parts we love best about working here is drooling over real weddings. What makes these weddings so memorable can be a lot of different things, from amazing details to perfectly-captured quiet moments. Here are the weddings (in no particular order) that we couldn't get out of our heads this year. We hope you love them as much as we do!

Annita & Greg's NYC Elopement by Boris Zaretsky

When you combine the Christmas season and New York City, you know the result is going to be magical. Annita and Greg quietly wed at city hall and then hosted a casual brunch reception complete with a glorious wedding cake. The couple also went around the streets of NYC to get some cool wedding day portraits. If this wedding doesn't convince you that a courthouse affair can be just as great as a traditional wedding, we don't know what will.

Sewon and Taurin's photographer is no stranger to our lists. Let's Frolic Together was also featured in our favorite weddings of 2014. And it's easy to see why. Their unique style was a perfect match for this dynamic Redwoods wedding. There are a lot of details in this wedding to inspire you, so make sure you check out Sewon's sweet floral crown, the purple bridesmaid dresses, and the coolest wedding cake ever from Momofuku.

Many brides and grooms are tempted by the idea of a destination wedding. What's not to love? But sometimes couples have concerns that they won't be able to have a wedding with all the trimmings if they choose this option. Nilou and Lyn's wedding proves that you don't have to sacrifice anything. Under a stunning floral arch, this bride and groom exchanged vows right on the beach. Afterwards, a twinkling poolside reception greeted guests, beckoning everyone to stay until the wee hours.

We mentioned earlier that what makes us choose a particular real wedding for this list can be really varied. In the case of this event, it wasn't necessarily specific details, but rather the general mood. With Jessica and John's wedding, Arte De Vie captured a truly celebratory atmosphere filled with lots of laughter, second line parade dancing, and what looked to be the party of the year.

Every single detail was so immaculately executed, from the juicy bouquets popping against the cornflower blue bridesmaid dresses to the paper flower backdrop bursting from behind the sweethearts' table.
