I heart this wedding. And not because of the "Huey Lewis and the News" centerpieces (although they are really great) or paper flowers or the fact that Sara and Russell took a traditional location and turned it on its head. What I love is how family-oriented this event was. Sara and Russell wanted Russell's children to feel not just like observers, but as members of a new family they were helping to create. During the ceremony, instead of lighting a unity candle, they made a peanut butter and honey sandwich and divided into four pieces as a symbol of their togetherness. Love. Thank you to Dark Roux Photography for being so awesome and sharing this amazing event with us!
