Planning for honeymoon ~
Initially I want to go Hokkaido in July 2010(lavender season) for the honeymoon. But Benny wants it to be right after the wedding. So I went to Hongthai to enquire about the rate for Europe 12 D tour in xmas time and new year time. It costs $4000 which is within our budget! ^_^
Choose 美心皇宮 for H.K Wedding
Just happen to have a wedding show at 會展, so we went there to enquire about the wedding banquet in hong kong. Check with some restaurant that 17/12/2010 is already fully booked. so panic! luckily our first choice 美心皇宮(九龍灣德福) is still available. Initially the freebie will be given to those 10 tables or above. Planning Wedding Dinner in Hong Kong
We have decided to hold the dinner in Hong Kong on 14/15/16 Dec 2010 . Have not decided on the date yet! We will hold 7 tables in Hong Kong inviting mainly our relatives. Have already shortlisted a few restaurants such as 東海海鮮酒家 , 美心皇宮 , Crystal Jade. This time round is Benny’s task to call up the restaurants and ask for the details in this December. Hee Hee…

To-do list
After we have fixed the date and booked the banquet and church, I need to create a shopping list and to-do list. Wedding expense is huge, around $45k SGD. I hope that it won’t go out of our budget.
I also started to buy the wedding stuff such as teapot set, red pocket box, wedding car hello kitty, kneeing pillow, unity candles… etc…my colleagues said I act so fast!
Meeting up with the person-in-charge
We purposely took 1 day leave to meet up with the person-in-charge of the church and hotel.
They are very friendly. The church person told us what paper work we need before the wedding. And he reserved the date for us without us putting any deposit. So nice of him.
As for the hotel banquet, the assistant catering manager is also friendly and helpful. We paid the deposit of $3000 to reserve the banquet on 11/12/2010 .
Use up a lot of brain cells
I have used up a lot of brain cells to shortlist a list of hotels which can take 10 tables and church that allow us to hold the wedding.
Basically, I managed to find 3 hotels which allow 10 tables only. We had very limited choice to choose from. For the church, it is even worse. Some churches allow couples to hold the church wedding only if they stay within that area.
Picking a good date
I started to feel worried that if the wedding comes together with the house renovation. I will be extremely tiring and busy. So I planned to get married before the house is ready which is early 2011.

Wedding Photo Package
I really love the style of the pre-wedding photos of my bf’s cousin.
So I searched and searched. I managed to find a studio which provides the photo shooting @ Monalisa studio in Hong Kong ! I was so excited!
