Our newborn baby niece, Orange has her full moon celebration yesterday. We called back to congrats the newly promoted "mummy".
During the conversation, the new mummy suddenly pop up a question:"Do you have good news?"
Hubby and me look at each other for few seconds, trying to catch what does that mean...
Well, guess... good news = baby....
After the call, hubby and me chatted awhile regarding this issue.
We got married 3 months ago. I know hubby always love kids... and I do love kids too!!
But, lately, a new thought come into me. Would life be much more easier if we don't have kids?
Pros and Cons, let's start with the Pros...
1. Don't have to spend money on visiting gynae and consultation plus the delivery fees!
2. Don't have to save milk powder money
3. Don't have to save pampers money
4. Don't have to save babysitter money
5. Don't have to save education fees for kids future
6. Don't have to buy insurance for them
7. Don't have to worried they will become a bad person one day
8. Don't have to "sam gua gua" when you go travel with the other half
9. Don't have to look like "Ah Soh" when you go out with your young kids (carrying milk bottle la, hot water la, napkin la, pampers la, wet tissue la....)
10. Don't have to bear with this "life time property"

Cons...
one and only one, might feel bored at times....

But, who cares? Two person can live happily ever after too right?

Hubby has confirmed his trip back to Sydney again in February after CNY....
He prefers me to follow him. And I would love to.
But the concern is, what should I do in the 3 months?
I have been enjoying alot these 3 honeymoon months. Another 3 months sounds bit over isn't?
Arh......without working visa, I can't do parttime here!!!
I will be caught and sent back to Malaysia...then can't enter Australia again...

One of my favorite dish is my mum's 冬菇姜鸡.
Well, I tried a few times before while I studied in London and also while I worked in Singapore. Not very successful but eatable...
Tonight, I used 2 Australia Chicken Drumstick, 1 packet of Korean Mushroom and 1 big piece of Ginger to make this pot of 冬菇姜鸡.
Thank God, hubby loves it and will bring some for tomorrow's lunch box.

Hubby and myself really hate the Australian Customer Service. They "promised" things that they can't fulfil and they don't even bother to conduct service recovery.
We were supposed to move last week, but in the end it delays to this week. The manager promised to give us a clean room by noon time and also send someone to help us with the baggage.
In the end, the cleaner is still cleaning the place while we move up, and we "help ourselve" with ALL our baggages except the staff uses his two fingers helped us to pull my Samsonite Hardshell Case.
What the.......

No doubt, it sounds bit too early to have Christmas Dinner now, but again, this is the title for tonight's dinner.
Doltone house has a great ambience for catering service, wedding banquet and event celebration. They have different theme of settings. Tonight, we are in red mode. My hubby's favorite.

Sydney Christmas' celebration begin with a magical Christmas concert including carols and the lighting of the city's largest Christmas tree.
We missed the concert and lighting part. When we reach there, the crow was over but there're some people taking photos with the largest christmas tree.

爸爸閉翳陪我们在悉尼渡过的第一个周末。

We had a very good dinner with cousin David and his family. He has the cutest and most adorable twins in the world, Oscar and Osmond. I always wonder what is the feeling of seeing someone who is so much like u not in the mirror but in real world.

家公家婆真好，载我们到机场。吃了一顿简单的晚餐，我们给彼此一个暖暖的拥抱后，就入闸了。
值得欣慰的是我们这趟坐商务舱。虽然是夜机，倒也休息得很好。

已经是第n次了。老公的行程还是没有肯定。上个星期五说要去美国。今天早上说不必去。老公还没来得及定我们的蜜月地点，傍晚就接到通知说要去悉尼3个月。无论是美国还是澳洲，行李收拾了再说吧~

今天我们合家兴高采烈，兴致勃勃地到伴郎先生家里吃火锅。大家都好开心。伴郎先生的爸爸还给我们泡了一壶靓普尔。聚会从八点到凌晨三点。两个字，好玩！

We arranged the photos order for album. After the photos been delevoped and ready for album processin, they change the photos order without our permission, not even a call! The reason of they change it is they think the way they arrange is nicer. But, I thought paymaster have the last say???

I was alone in KL, waiting for my cousin to pick me up from Hostel, rushing hour... need to be at NIkKO HOTEL by 1pm..if im not mistaken now.. he didnt make it, he was sleeping at home...gosh!! i rushed down to the lobby n tried to get a cab, but Malaysia Cab dont usually go by meters.. driver said RM50 to get to town from Subang, i had no choice..
I met this special gal during the interview, pretty, friendly,kind and nice.. she gave me a very very good impression. yet i didnt get a chance to know her better or to even approach her.. But my interview went smoothly..

No KAKI, nO FRIEND.. hoping to meet this sweet young lady that i saw in the interview session.. no reason why, just feeling.. finger crossed hard.. We had our probation together, flying together to most of the places. We been in the same team, we even slept in a same room during our SNY flights. I swear, you are the only SIA girl I slept with throughout my flying career. my ONE and ONLY ONE. *o*
Well, when I quit SQ, you are one of the girls who I don't want to leave. Although we don't meet as frequent as we started flying, but there're lots of things and little secret between two of us to share during our buddies time.

We visited a mini bridal fair at Equatorial Hotel last month and KH had a conversation with one of the invited vendor Alan Wong. He was impressed by his presentation.
After hosting in more than 400 wedding events, Alan is very professional and he has whole set of info that needed for a prefect wedding. He knows what works and what doesn't in a wedding. He knows exactly what sort of ideas about how to run it. He contributed lots of suggestion to us. He lead us from A to Z and everything has turn to simple and easy with his clear explanation and helpful tips.
Although we have not work with him before, but with the pleasant conversation and all the testimonials from his website. We are very confident that he'll be able to make our event a very interesting one with lots of fun and laughter for everyone there on that evening.
We feel very contented after we met up with Alan, because we know we have found the right person to arrange and co-ordinate our Wedding banquet. We can enjoy and have fun on that evening!! Hurray!!

Meoki在康宏的头上下了一番功夫。但是坦白说，不是很让人满意。怎么说还是Washington给他做过的造型最最最最帅！！！看过的人都赞他有日韩的味道！
看一看时间，我们迟了。赶紧出门。世事就是这样，你越是赶时间吗？它越塞车。
还幸今天的注册官（苏志鸿先生）实在好人，等了我们十分钟。一票人马进去注册室。康宏一定很喜欢里面的装饰，红彤彤地，非常符合他的China man taste。
苏先生有条不紊地读出婚姻条约。我们在适当的时候说了：“我愿意。"然后就听到不懂什么犯什么就得罚款三万！哗~~~哄堂一笑。
就这样，我们在法律上成了夫妻。
完整婚姻三部曲：合法，合理，合义。今天我们完成了合理这部分。剩下的我们十月再续。

这堂课比第一堂还要难。摘下了几项要点：

With a greatful heart, we got our Wedding Dinner Invitation card in perfect condition today evening. we have amened many times due to the wording arrangement and font type. And Penny from RedCard has dealt with us very patiently. Although we been told to wait for atleast ten working days, but we have got our card ready in a week time! Without wasting another second, I wrote Penny a Thank you card. Thank you Penny!

这实在是太不可思议了。从几时开始可以用中文打字，我怎么这么迟钝？能够以母语来表达心中的日夜实在是太棒了!
I have alot to day abt today...
We created another miracle. We bought our flower girls' dress way below our budget. We got very good deal, in Sungai Wang again!!!
So, is page boy the next? I have no confident to make another miracle for pageboy's tux, I am sure it would be quite expensive. But will see...
So, it comes to the 主角 for today. We always have a dream to have our name embossed on our wedding band... but none of the jewerlly shop do it, except one in town. After seeing the design, we love it! But, we don't love the price AT ALL!! It's too much to spend over RM10k for two platinum rings without diamond, isn't?
So, we gotto compromise to our second dream ring, which we saw once at BU, but my size is not available. Order can be made, but gotto wait very long, and our ROM is just around the corner. sad...
But today, we saw the exactly same design in Sungai Wang. My ring size is avaiable!!! wait!Kanghong's is not....well, seems like we gotto go BU to get kanghong's size.
Alright, afterall, the good news is, our wedding band is ready!!! And we love it so much. Although we have got two boxes for the rings, but kanghong insist to squeeze them into one box, cause they are meant to be a pair.. sweet isn't? ^_^
I am sooo happy today. Two big task done!

Looks like Cindy and me had a good shopping time in Sungai Wang today. She loves the 3inches "f**k me" heels (this is the name she gave to the heels) and I got my two bridesmaids' gown. For me, the gown is really a good deal! It's within my budget and now I should start to look for our flower girl dress... Wedding is bad for my bank saving account but good for the economy...

This time Washington Portrait took 100+ shots for us ONLY...
Perhaps we have been well trained in photo choosing. The whole process of choosing 40photos out of 100+ took us less than 2hours, included deciding which photos to be put in big&small album, which photo to be enlarge etc...
The overall experience with Washington Portrait is good. The only thing is their touchup time needed way longer than Mon'Liza. We can only view our touch-up photos 6weeks later... Make me wonder.. do we have that much "imperfect" to touch up? ...

I can't believe Mon'Liza has more than 1000gowns... and this is my x time going there for gown fitting... I started to act like a part time there. Carmen asked me to help myself with the gowns. people just get surprised how could I manage to wear gown on my own, without any helping hand from them, no matter what gown it is... i guess, it's bcause I have 4hands? two in front and two at the back. hahaha....
well, it's not funny when come to gown choosing. I have got my BIG day Wedding gown from TOM, that is for sure. So right now I am getting the one from Mon'Liza for my ROM. I need to find one that is really simple. If not people will sure feel I am over "kua jiong"... just a ROM...

Now that I understand why this man doesn't allow me to post the photos online first. He wants to have "story line" for the pre-wedding shots...

Carmen called this noon time and bring the good news to say our touched up wedding photos are ready to view. Together kanghong and me make an appoinment at 3.30pm to view the photos. The photos are not flawless yet but their service is great. I realize it needs plenty of patience and generousity to handle many possible nusty and demanding customers. Especially when it comes to wedding photos, "ONCE IN A LIFE TIME". We always think we want "perfect". But sad to know that the "perfect toucedup photos" in the end will be hidden underneath the bed after the wedding. *sigh*

11th August? 15th September? We are looking for the most appropriate timing for the registration of marriage. I guess he prefers 11th August so that his sister can come to attend. Me personally prefer 15th September as it is exactly one month before our Actual Day Wedding. Well, finally, the man decided 11th August. So we have another "click" in the wedding tasks. Good work!

It's time to prepare our red bomb to relatives and friends. How I wish I can share the design we chosen here, but the groom-to-be disagree as he thinks should keep it as "locked-image" until we start to send out our red bomb. So that people won't have a feeling of " ooo, I have seen your invitation card in ur website."
So... shall wait yea... anyway, it is not a special design, it is a very simple card, very very simple card....

Our pretty Mon'Liza sales assistant Carmen called to make an appointment for our wedding photos choosing on 18th June, 6PM. Together we have Weng, PuiYuh, KaiThung, Kimmy and Linda with us.
We were 45minutes late. So we started at 6.45PM. Carmen told us the total number of photos we have, 553!!!!!! The first thing come into my mind was, Michael is too busy last week to filter those photos that are not nice. But I thought he is the chief photographer of Mon'Liza? He should be professional enough to cut down the amount of photos and only show us those that are nice?
Well, we sat there and started to browse through one by one...
Although not all of them are nice, but I must admit most of them are acceptable. so we are not in dilenma! Our photos entitlement is 42poses. And now we have 553 photos! Meaning to say we can choose less than 10% only...
However, with our dear friends around, we managed to filter out 300 over photos. And we still have 250photos in hand. We need to come back another time as they closes at 9pm.
I don't know is this a norm case but so far no people have got 500+ over shots for one day photo shooting. Am I suppose to be happy cause we have so many beautiful photos? Or I should start to worry cause I might end up top up a lot to get those photos?

I am so glad and thankful that James&Vernis have made a big effort to come all the way from PJ to my church in Kepong. They gave us useful advice on the church deco, teach us how to save cost and more importantly they help us to save too!
We then further discussed on the dinner venue decoration for Tropicana ballroom. It was a pleasant conversation. Thank you to both of them.

Serene, our wedding stylist consultant is back for a week. She brought back a few wedding favors for me. They are simply awesome! I really love all of them!! Each favors consist of 5 candy, symbolize health, wealth, happiness, fertility, and longevity.
We wish to give out this beautiful favors to all of our guests.
But at the same time we do not want Serene to over work. She is busy with her new job too!
No matter how many favors we will get from her when the day come, I would like to thank her for all the effort she has made. Serene, we love you. Thank you. Muacks!

Have done my gown fitting today, with the absence of KH but presence of my dear cousin Cindy. Thanks Cindy for giving me accompany from noon time till evening. The whole process was fun! There are more than 500 gowns in the bridal shop I guess? And I can only choose 4 for the photoshooting.... is rIdIcUlOuS! well, I still manage to shortlist shortlist and shortlist in the end... hehe...

Without having to run around in Klang Valley area, we manage to get a decent banquet venue. Spring Garden is the first venue we visited, and we decided to book the grandballroom and restraurant area for the wedding banquet. Diana, the manager make the menu more flexible for us to swop the dishes we wish to get from the other menu from different price range. With the first impression we had, and many times of phone conversations, we believe Spring Garden and Diana will deliver the quality of food and service that everyone looking for! Thanks Diana! ^_^

It was great to have a bunch of close family members and friends to celebrate this special day with us. Was regreted much that we didn't take much photos as we were too much into chatting and singing k. However, thank you to dear uncle, aunty, cousin Andrew and family, Dorothy, Kevin, Dianne, Steven, Yvone, Alvin, Mabel, Yao Wen, Jian Feng and gf. Of course, we also appreciate friends who can't attend but do send us sms or even give us a call to wish us. Happy New Year to all of you and may us have a MARVELOUS 2007!!

Now we learnt it is not easy to please everybody, to make everyone happy. One side of our parents don't wish us to rush the ROM just for the matter of enjoying SIA welfare (getting free ticket + 1week matrimonial pay leave). So now we will not Register as we planned initially. We will still hold an engaagement party as planned, and wait till I quit SIA next year then we will plan further. However, if we think further ahead, it's actually a good news! Because we can plan for a better and merrier ROM, e.g. what to wear, who to invite, where to eat to celebrate after the ceremony etc... isn't true? So, we are still happy and looking forward~!

Touch down from Germany this morning, after took 1 hour nap in Singapore, I fly back to KL. Darling took half day leave to pick me up and we go to Putrajaya with ROM mission. Found out that this place is really far. End up we only take the application form. Being a filial son, darling doesn't want our parents to travel so far to witness our ROM. So we will consider another location. After Putrajaya, we went to Cheras Ue3's HM Brides boutique. They sell lots of different designs and color of gowns, with very reasonable price. Given a chance to have a flight to HongKong, even though it is a bit too early, but I still decided to visit this Golden plaza that sell all the wedding accesories thingys. Finally, with a very reasonable price, I got a golden and silver thread (the so called best quality kua compare to beads kua).
