(hindi po ito Pinoy Dream Academy, hehehe...)
We wanted to keep an account of the milestones of our preparations, maybe an online journal perhaps, and most importantly the life after our big day.
Hopefully you who will drop by might gain a lot of wisdom and learnings as we post real life encounters we will have in our journey of a life together.
Basahin ninyo, ang kwento sa likod ng mga pangarap...namin! hehehe...
I've found my new home! I decided to include our wedding preparation highlight kwentos in my own Blog Site: rollercoasterchronicles.wordpress.com Wedding kwentos are filed under "Wedding Chronicles". Enjoy reading, see you on our Big Day! 60days down the clock... tic, tac, tic, tac...
It’s 113days
down on countdown my Big day. That is still roughly 4 months in the
making. I have no wedding jitters, not experiencing “cold feet”, and
what really just bugs me is how am I supposed to wear heels without
having sores or worse, breaking them, and, how am I going to support my
mom and dad’s vanity syndrome without breaking the bank? Hey, I was
supposed to be given attention here. I’m the bride remember?
I have a generous amounts of excitement about the whole...
I must admit, ours was way too ambitious and extravagant in a sense. Glamorous, glitzy and fab - ironically things that we are quite unsure if budget will permit, and guests would appreciate. Hollywood awards night for a theme wedding anyone? Deeply and truthfully, as our story would depict, our love story is a cinematic version of future dramas in big screen. Even before One More Chance, You Changed My Life, and For the First Time (huh, I thought its all about Hollywood??), there was...
Renaissance Tower, Ortigas
We
could say that being able to attend the seminar was already a blessing.
I only got to open my email and read about the invitation by John
Mateos Ong several days before the event. We tried everything to
contact him, and his team but we were left with only unassuring
answers.
Perhaps God did knew we need the seminar so
there it was, the last couple to register,...
We are blessed! We never regret that we attended the Engagement Seminar held last October 14, 21, and 28 at Victory Christian Fellowship (where we attend). Truly a wonderful experience and opportunity to learn how God designed Marriages to be. Even though we were the youngest couple there (they look at us like, hey, do you really know what you are doing kids?:D), it was worth every undertime (at least for me), and the long walk from Ortigas MRT to Robinson's galleria. God used Pastors Fer,...
The Wedding Expo 2008. We had plans even before Rhyan came back from the States to attend the fair again (3rd time na, ehehe..). It was a saturday, and we planned to come as early as the opening time to really scout seriously for suppliers. Unfortunately though, I have a business meeting to attend to in the morning so we just went after lunch. We had rounds at the booths, and really loved everything! We are really so excited then 'coz we got a date na (January 16, 2010). We had food tasting...
