Yonggeng & Kristal

Random pics from Singapore

So this will be a short post of our even shorter holiday in Singapore during Christmas 2009.

This is me carrying my one-month old baby niece, Olivia! =) She's happily sleeping in my arms and not at all disturbed by the number of people around her commenting on her long eye-lashes, cute little button nose, rosy complexion, etc etc. Little Olivia, may you grow up to be a beautiful, kind, and intelligent lady! =)

Can't wait to see her again in July 2010, when we will be back in Singapore for holidays! Also, my brother and sister-in-law are expecting a baby in July 2010!! So I'll be an aunty again!!! I'm soooooo excited!!!!! =) =)

This photo is a scan of a neoprint! We were at cineleisure to watch a movie... and I pulled Yg into the shop to take a neoprint!! It's been ages since we've taken one. The last time was when we were only 18! Those were the times when neoprint machines were much simpler to use, much cheaper, and the designs were not as exciting! Nowadays, the neoprint machine is more complex than an SLR camera!! =P You could choose 4 different backgrounds, and different poses... you could take full body shots or just close-up face shots. Then you have to use your limited artistic ability to decorate the 4 photos with millions of effects, touch-ups, backgrounds, wordings, etc etc. The whole process took us like more than 1/2 hour!!!!

Unfortunately, we were really 'noob' (means clueless) about such new-age photography technique and we kind of wasted 2 out of 4 photos. 1 photo was destroyed by me when I added a flowery background that had a big flower that covered Yg's face! Sorry! =P The other bad photo wasn't too bad, except that we ran out of creativity and time to create a new pose or design.

Anyway, the neoprint above was the best of the 4 and it was designed and decorated by Yonggeng!!!! =) =) Isn't it cute? The 2 rabbits at the bottom of the photo, Tobey and Dorey, are the names that we have picked for our rabbits, if we ever managed to buy them! =P

So, it was a traumatic experience and at least we have one new neoprint to add to our collection! We'll be more experienced the next time! =)

Finally, here's a photo we took at One Fullerton on my sister's birthday!! =) I must say it's a pretty good shot taken by my dad, as the merlion was very clear and so were our faces, despite the limited lighting! =P
