This is an all-in-one trip! A graduation trip for Yonggeng, a long-awaited honeymoon trip for us and probably a trip to mark the end of our carefree student life! =P
Glad we chose Santorini... because if this is gonna be one of the last trips we'll enjoy before the crazy work life sets in... then this has proven to be the perfect trip! =)
Before leaving Glasgow, we decided that we had to visit a Scandinavian/Nordic country to see the beautiful Fjords. So here we are at Bergen for a weekend trip. Bergen is 2nd largest city in Norway and also called the gateway to the Fjords! =)
As we are approaching our 2nd year anniversary, we decided to go on a trip to the romantic city of Prague! =) We were there on a special mission... no, we didn't go there because we needed to rekindle our love for each other... we went to Prague to take our wedding photos! =) Most of our trip was spent preparing for the photo shoot, including meeting up with the photographer, doing my trial make-up and hair styling, collecting my floral bouquet and scouting for good location! So we didn't get to do much sight-seeing. However, putting the photo shoot aside, we did enjoy ourselves very much! Paris, Venice and Prague have been hailed the cities of love. Having been to all three, I must say that Prague definitely earns its title! =)
Kristal's parents came to Glasgow to visit us for 3 weeks! During this time, they discovered many little gems in Scotland, which we never noticed in our few years here! Here are some photos that characterise their visit and show the interesting things of Scotland! Who says that Scotland is a boring place to visit? =P
These are our photos to the capital city of music, Vienna. The main reason for this trip was because yg had an electronic poster at the European Congress of Radiology (ECR 2010).
We also made full use of our time and tour and beautiful city of Vienna. The highlights of our trip include the amazing food & coffee and also attending the Vienna Symphony. Hope all of you would enjoy the photos ! =)
In my brother's words, "Iceland is an economically wasted country." Yet, in this economically wasted country lies the most beautiful, pristine, natural and breath-taking landscapes in the world!! =) I have seen spectacular waterfalls at Cornell and majestic mountains in Austria; I have heard of relaxing hot springs in Japan and beautiful beaches in Greece. But I didn't think that I would find all of them in one country: Iceland.
London is indeed a great place to be in!! =) There are just so many things to do and we couldn't finish all that we wanted to eat, see, and shop! =P guess we'll just have to come back again next year! =P
The highlights of our trip were dining at a Michelin one star restaurant and visiting Madame Tussaud's wax museum! =) Check out our photos to see the endless fun and excitement at London! =)
We had a wonderful time at the Church retreat! Kudos to the organizing committee and the catering team! =) In this gallery, you will see lots of beautiful photos of the scenic Aviemore! It's great to be in God's presence and to be amidst His wonderful creation! =)
