Happy New Year Everyone!!!
Wedding preps is on! and Mark is busier than me hehehe,, at mas nagiging OC ang groom kaya hapyng happy si bride. Perfectionist is one of the character of Virgo, I want everything nice and perfect, but I am also tamad, I can conceptualize what I want but the hard part is I don't have talent in doing it,, I need someone who will initiate to do the work.
I went to Philippines last Nov. 26-Feb 1, what a short vacation for wedding preps, but I manage to do what I need to do there, like food tasting, first fitting ng gown ko ( heart heart ko si Ms. V), visited our venue and church.
Other things for wedding will be settled end of this month, we scheduled a 4 days vacation for that.
Now we are busy in making our Save The Date holder, last December 31, 2009, we received the Save the Date magnet,, what a nice thing to start the year, we didn't expect that it will come that soon,we went to Printpal on December 24, 2009, since it was a holiday season they said that we will received it by second week of January. I thought that we are settled na sa souvenir namin which is the minicakes from the caterer, but I have this something that I really really want for the guests, kaya lang since I still have a lot of things to accomplish pa, I just let it go, and hassle din kasi we have to order pa in Thailand, then 1 week before Christmas, Mark called me in the office saying that he already placed an order for that thingy, it really meant a lot for me, the best talaga ang asawa ko,, it showed again his generosity sa akin hehehe.
My Gown
Yehey, basta sobrang happy ako ngayon, I received the sketches of my gown, I'll post again pag ka ok na talaga. Dream come true "wink"
Wedsite
Hi all, I had a problem with my other wedsite that's made me think to create a new one. I was able to transfer here all the blog entry and wedding updates from our previous wedsite. I just dont know why I can't upload our background music, need to ask from the experts. See yah!
Caterer and Strings
Yesterday we made a reservation na sa Eloquente, we got their Carnation Package. Finally naayos na din namin yung sa package, we didnt avail their Emcee as I already booked Missy, pinaupgrade namin ang Bridal Car at yung flowers, kumuha din kami ng kiddie meal kasi ang dami kong mga pinsan na bata, hindi ko pa nga lang napapatanggal sa package yung sound system kasi gusto ko pag nakapagpabook na kami saka sila iinform.

I made a reservation na kay missy, she is quite popular sa w@w kaya sya talaga ang first choice namin, actually kasama sa package ng caterer ang emcee pero hindi na namin in-avail kahit pa sabi nila 1K lang ang mababawas sa package. Caterer, OTD, and Couturier
Kina-career ko na wedding preps namin, hehehe. since yung first choice na caterer namin ay hindi accredited ng La Castellana nag inquire ako sa VS&F pero we decided to stick with our first choice, yae na nga lang magbayad ng corkage fee, pina finalize na namin yung details bago kami magbayad ng reservation sa kanila, mabait naman sila kasi binigay nila yung mga hiningi ko na freebies, sana nga lang maayos nila yung sa bridal car. Yesterday, Tita Seny and my MIL went to Ellinwood and La Castellana to pay for the DP. I am very happy because it took me 2 months to find the right venue for us, I've inquired mostly from Manila area like Le Pavillon but unfortunately our wedding is month of December and we can't afford to rent the whole venue, the Clamshell but they are going to endorse the venue to DOTC same case with the Coconut Palace, our last option is 1Esplanade but I think its too pricey for us. Last Tuesday we had a dinner/meeting with jayson and joanne arquiza, at first my hubby and I were so shy and quiet but jayson and joanne made us feel comfortable. I always dream of a church wedding, long aisle, a very solemn and intimate wedding. When I was in college, I usually go to Ellinwood Church in malate and always hoping that someday I get married there. Years after, when mark and I was still working in the Philippines and when my mamay Pedro was still there, we planned to have a garden wedding in Lipa, then when my mamay left us we decided to get married in Quezon. I am so delighted, finally we have this wedding website as we plan our wedding day. Recently, I am very busy checking about weddings and other couples' wedsite and somehow it encouraged me to create this site. I am thrilled, excited, nervous, worried,,, hehehe,,, mixed emotions talaga coz I dont know where and how to start the preparations, although we still have 1 1/2 year to prepare I still have these feelings.
