Planning a Tucson Wedding
We’ll admit that we’re not the bravest when it comes to Tucson’s summer heat, but we think this desert city, with its one of a kind natural settings (the Saguaro National Park and neighboring mountains make for some incredible scenery), is a great place for an outdoor wedding of any style. And although we’re partial to the obvious desert plant connection (we love a good succulent-accented table setting) we also think that the city is a clean palette upon which you can rest your special day’s dreams and décor. As the icing on the cake, these vendors are a few extra reasons we love a wedding in Tucson.
Tucson Wedding Locations
Corona Ranch is a historic Tucson venue – and one with an excellent reputation. Well-loved, the 1930s guest ranch has been home to hundreds of local weddings and provides couples with a unique wedding site that includes personalized event coordination and numerous catering options. At one time a working ranch, the venue is spacious and full of character. The Stillwell House is another historic Tucson wedding location, this time with turn of the century elegance, red brick walls, and a flower-filled courtyard.
Wedding Cakes in Tucson
While we do appreciate all the details of a carefully planned and heartfelt wedding, we have to say that we have a particularly soft spot for sweets. Sugar Song Custom Cakes is an area favorite for reimagined (and seriously pretty) takes on the traditional wedding cake and sugar design. Sugar Song specializes in the visual details that make a cake truly exceptional – and the incredible tastes and flavor combinations that make it impossible to walk away from.
