Planning a Wedding in Jacksonville
Weddings are filled with details – and to get to those details, you and your fiancé will undoubtedly be making decisions upon decisions, hopefully with nothing but love in your hearts. After all, at the end of the day, this wedding is a celebration of the life you’ve chosen to build together. But in an effort to help you with some of the decisions you’ll be faced with, we’ve decided to focus in on one particular category of wedding planning: dessert. If you’re not there yet, bookmark this page – once you’ve decided on your Jacksonville wedding venue, your Jacksonville wedding photographer, and, of course, the beautiful dress you’ll be wearing down the aisle, come back. We’ll be right here waiting with some of the sweetest reception treats around.
Creating and serving wedding cakes for more than two decades, Cake Classics bakes up delicious – and exquisitely decorated – cakes for weddings throughout North Florida. Particularly proud of their vegan and organic options, the bakery is also capable of accommodating most food allergies. Flavor favorites include Black Velvet, a veritable chocolate triple-threat, and Sweet & Sassy, a tangy lemon and raspberry concoction.
Atlantic Beach based bakery Sweet’n’Flour has more than the traditional wedding cake on their menu. This shop focuses on Southern-inspired sweets, with options that include pastries, pies, and beautifully crafted cupcakes. And although we do love options, Sweet’n’Flour has a certain Organic Key Lime Chocolate Blackberry Raspberry Almond Cake up their sleeve that sounds like heaven.
Last, but certainly not least, among our Jacksonville wedding cake selections is a little shop that believes that good things come in small packages. And when it comes to the kinds of dessert table Small Bites has been known to put together, we completely agree. High quality ingredients are at the base of each and every creation here, and custom orders are embraced with enthusiasm. By the way, the menu includes French macarons, a decadent selection of cupcakes, and the ever-playful whoopie pie.
