Planning an Orlando Wedding
Theme park heaven, and only an hour from the Florida coast, Orlando is not only a beautiful place for locals to plan a wedding – it’s destination wedding paradise, too. From beautiful venues and talented vendors to a dizzying array of activities and attractions for out of town guests and visitors, this city has options to burn. And just in time for you and your special day, here are a few of our favorites.
Wedding Venues in Orlando
There are many, many incredible venues in Orlando. However, the Cypress Grove Estate House always manages to be near the top of our list. A plantation style venue packed with Southern charm and the prettiest of outdoor settings, this Orlando wedding venue is elegant all over. Ceremonies have a lakefront view, while receptions are typically held on the property’s lawn. All we know is that we can’t seem to tear ourselves away from the white-columned front porch.
Wedding Photography in Orlando
When it comes to capturing the moments of one of the most important days of your life, we want to make sure you make your way into the best of Orlando wedding photography hands. And we’re convinced that Amalie Orrange Photography has just the type of hands we’re looking for. A husband and wife team completely dedicated to wedding photography, this couple loves to tell the story of your day through images and knows that each wedding is unique. On another note, they take incredible pictures.
Orlando for the Out of Town Guest
We know you’re busy planning your wedding. And so, on the topic of guest-related agendas and information, we’ve got your back. There are always the traditional attractions – Disney, the Wizarding World of Harry Potter and Universal Studios each have enough up their sleeves to keep your friends and family busy for days. However, there’s more to Orlando than theme parks alone. Outdoor adventurers might enjoy a hike in Bill Frederick Park or a pontoon boat ride across Lake Osceola. The Orlando Science Center and Orlando Museum of Art are both highly rated local museums for art and science-minded guests. And food? The Ravenous Pig for high-class pub fare, K Restaurant for locally sourced meals, and the Beefy King for Orlando-born fast food.
