Best friends who initially met in the world of online dating, Caitlin and Matt each felt a never-before-experienced sense of comfort and ease about their relationship from the very beginning. “Whatever we experience in this life, we want to experience it together. There was just this sense of peace that we had both finally found the person we wanted to spend our lives with,” Caitlin said. “It was just easy.” The couple, who describe their relationship as seamless, got engaged on Caitlin’s birthday. When Matt surprised Caitlin with a ring in the exact place where they’d had their first date, she burst into tears and ecstatically said, ‘Yes!’
