Christian and Camille’s Sweet Columbia Gorge Wedding by Powers Photography Studios
After meeting abroad, this cute couple knew they were meant to be together. Christian and Camille’s wedding is filled with equally romantic details.
We love the genius idea of asking your guests to come up with date night ideas, thereby escaping any future ‘What do you want to do?’ loops. Also lovely are the mint green bridesmaid dresses (so fresh!) and absolutely adorable flower girls. Enjoy! Thank you to Powers Photography Studios for sharing!
Did your wedding location hold a specific significance to you?
Christian and I grew up in the outdoors, and we are adventure junkies. Being in the mountains brings our souls peace, knowing the God who made these is watching over us and brought us together.
Did anything funny or out of the ordinary happen?
Yes. At the beginning of the ceremony, thunder started rumbling and there were big gray clouds. Everyone got very nervous but then once the processional ended, it was looking much better. Christian says it was God’s voice ‘I approve this union.”
Any advice you’d give new brides who are just getting started?
Choose 3-5 things that you want to focus on and spend your money on, and then let the other things be in the lower budget or DIY. And remember it is just one day; the more important thing is how every day thereafter is going to be. With that in mind, find time in the middle of your planning to not lose relationships and gain stress. Even if you don’t have everything you have dreamed of, it is still going to be the most amazing day!
