I few years ago I saw a picture of this incredible soft pink dahlia on Instagram and went on a mad hunt to find tubers for 'Castle Drive'. I scoured all of the North American sources I could find for months without any luck. Over 100 calls, emails and dead end searches later I finally gave up hope on ever finding them. Then one day in late April 2016, out of the blue, I found a box with 20 perfect tubers waiting in my mailbox, with no return address. To this day I still don't know who sent them to me! I've taken very, very good care of that original stock and this week we divided 2,130 tubers. In addition to the incredible soft pink/blush coloring, they are one of the first varieties to bloom and the flowers are long lasting with strong, tall stems. If I had to pick a favorite variety (we have nearly 500) this beauty would surely be it! #growfloret #floretfbulbs
