Leann and Evan’s Gorgeous Day at the Beach Real Wedding by Still Music Photography

This beautiful real wedding by Still Music Photography is the perfect way to start the week!

This beautiful real wedding by Still Music Photography is the perfect way to start the week! Leann and Evan were married this summer in Coronado, and treated their guests to a lovely day at the beach, complete with a monochromatic dessert table, adorable kids’ table gifts, and a fun party that went to the wee hours. Read below for Leann’s inspiration for her DIY projects and more!

What was your wedding’s theme?

The theme for the wedding was vintage burlap and lace. It was very DIY and I got tons of ideas from pinterest and etsy. One of my very favorite aspects was my bouquet which had antique broaches from my great-great grandmother, great grandmother and grandmother. It was beautiful and so special. I loved my hanging mason jars with flowers in them….. they were so cute and so cheap! Also I used tons of chalk boards all throughout the venue for decor. My favorite DIY chalkboard , though, was the menu that I made. I used an old window and chalkboard spray painted it. It was perfect!

Did your wedding location hold a specific significance to you?

We fell in love with our venue on the spot. We wanted a beach venue and we love Coronado so it just worked out perfectly!

What was the most meaningful part of your day?

There was one thing that Evan and I will never forget. The rainbow that was in the sky right after our ceremony ended. Evan proposed under a rainbow, so that made it even more special. It was so beautiful and a moment we will forever be near and dear to our hearts.

How did you know your partner was ‘the one’?

Evan and I were together for 4 years before he proposed. He popped the question in the Swiss Alps under a rainbow. It was so perfect and beautiful! I was so surprised! We were on a month long European vacation and he carried the ring around the whole time until about 5 days before we were to go home. It was so surreal and gorgeous, like in a movie.

Any advice you’d give new brides who are just getting started?

I would say to enjoy every minute of it! All the planning goes so fast and just simply being engaged is an amazing time in each and every couples lives. It’s fun and exciting! Try not to stress the small stuff and have FUN planning!
