Stephen and Toya’s Elegant Austin, TX Wedding by Photography by Vanessa

With a style that can best be described as Victorian-era Parisian, this vintage wedding is jam-packed with gorgeous details.  The color palette is lovely with its pale shades of rose, thistle blue, and lilac (with tiny hints of metallics–loving this trend).

The bride was stunning from her crystal headpiece right down to the end of her fit-and-flare gown.  But what makes this wedding truly remarkable was the way the couple weaved in both the nostalgic and the modern with such aplomb.  The groom’s family welcomed Toya with a Norwegian ale bowl ritual, where they drank from an antique pewter bowl.  But then the couple had the most amazing lighting details I’ve seen all year (you’ll just have to take a peek for yourself–hint: it’s behind the sweetheart table). Thanks to Photography by Vanessa for sharing this beautiful event with us!
